ben and jerry free cone day ytd was wonderful! the thought of free cones kept me alive and the min last block ended i went off in search of comfort food. ate 3 cones in total, the first was the choc chip cookie dough, then i had the oatmeal one and the fudge brownie one. the first one was heaven, second one tasted kind of interesting because there were hints of cinnamon in it. by the third cone i was feeling jelat already so because of the greatly reduced utility, i threw the remainders of my cone away.
the afternoon would have been a lot more enjoyable if not for my sudden detection of rg girls. being utterly convinced that rp keeps their noses to the grindstone, i thought they wouldn't be out grabbing free cones as well but then a loud yell of my name kind of proved that wrong -.- when i was in sch i had to dodge teachers whenever we went out, now i have to dodge teachers and students gg
watched phantom later, i expected lush costumes, spectacular set etc and i wasn't disappointed. the set was excellent but i can't comment on the costumes because i was too far to notice the detail on the various costumes. i did expect a much larger cast though, because i always saw it as a musical of a very large scale. didn't really expect much from the plot because after the disastrous movie my expectations plunged drastically. particularly liked the masquerade scene! the song is nice and i was reminded of terry pratchett's book, maskerade.
i love how terry pratchett always slips in a sly reference here and there in his books, it blurs the line between fiction and reality. should have gone to the book sale with ming, then i would have a whole stack of discworld books to read.
