had my nus fac interview today, luckily i left sch early or i would have been late because i kept overshooting my stop. i took 151 all the way to blk E4 then when i checked the map i was a long way off from EA and because i was too lazy to walk, i took 151 back then i overshot the bus stop at kuok foundation house so i ended up outside nus wth. when i finally got to the correct stop i had to climb up the bleeding hill and i ended up at blk E4 again. so i decided to leg it although i didn't have a clue as to which way to go but i still found blk EA in the end. i guess it's all in the mind; just look as if you know where you're heading to and you'll be alright. and if you still can't find the building at least you won't look stupid in the process.
the interview was very short which is not a good thing. only the s'porean prof asked me qns, the chinese one was more interested in arranging the cvs of the other interviewees -.- and the two words he said during the entire interview were "very good", it's supposed to be reassuring but i just felt more unnerved. actually, i'm seriously re-considering engine as a major. i don't want to be a chao mugger during uni! uni is supposed to be all fun and games, no? living in the library with fellow engineers is not fun at all. and the people there speak in chinese when they're not chinese chinese. i don't know if it's rg or just us but i can only speak chinese in clumps scattered in my english convos, lovely fluent sentences that speak of beautiful mountain scenery is beyond my limited vocab.
went down to ps after the interview, ts and poh kim had massive moving out sales. i spent more than 200 bucks there in my buying frenzy and i still wanted to buy more. tvb drama serials shall be my undoing. first, i spent my time watching serials instead of mugging for prelims. now, i blow my hard earned money on them gg
but i feel it's somewhat worth it. so now i have to catch the uncatchables, the charm beneath and safe guards to chiong. i bought war of the in-laws too but mum is making me return it so maybe i'll exchange it for beautiful cooking or bar benders or revolving doors of vengeance.
