our day will come.

first week of sch and i already hate it. everything is bloody online because it's supposedly environmentally friendly and technology is now everywhere so one must be at the forefront of things especially if one's s'porean.

i really don't see how it benefits the environment because everyone still prints out the damned lecture notes and they leave their laptops on for days on end. some people even use their laptops to download movies illegally during lectures; no prizes for guessing which group of people does it most brazenly. i miss the days when i didn't need to hand in work because it didn't count towards my grade and how i could afford to coast through most of the semester until i get my first test results back. or how i could always rely on the good old "but i put my work in the pigeonhole! didn't you receive it?" excuse. i want my honeymoon period back damn it. now i have to remember 10001 deadlines for my many e-tutorials, assignments and god knows what other crap. the time of submission and all that jazz is recorded so i can't make any excuse for late submission and those vile things count to my overall grade T.T all my notes, important websites, admin stuff etc are hidden in little neat folders all over the vast cyberspace and i am getting highly paranoid about all the stuff i might be missing out on because i cannot log on to the blasted system. i need to fix my userid/pw and i can only do so on monday, i am stressed out and the hw hasn't even properly arrived.

i am constantly bored to tears in lecture because none of my professors speak in a language i understand; it's a highly advanced form of english best known as the kind of english that engineers speak. simply put, it is a highly accented, grammatically dodgy sort of english and half the content goes over my head. the content is far from inspiring and i found myself wishing i was in law fac 10 min into the first lecture. i'm so desperate for good english that i'll choose whichever engine course with the highest number of funny standard english speaking lecturers, of course if it has a smaller workload it's a bonus la. the company i have for lecture is pathetic, i found myself wishing i had more friends doing engine but 408 is a lit class so people must go law fac. at this rate i'll just transfer to chem engine, if it's still possible, just for a lecture buddy. i think engine is the only faculty where s'poreans are the minority, i weep for my sad fate.

to add to my many woes, the cocksters at bbdc are still booking every lesson they can get their grimy little hands on. i cannot find a single lesson in sept which stinks because i need to have lessons consistently or i waste time revising for my previous lesson.

and i have many bruises playing ouch or-bi or-bi with my classmates.

life, thou art most cruel to me.
