f8 show thy force

this week has been the week of departures for me, with all my friends flying off to the uk, land of cute british lads T.T i was whining to one of my jc classmates about how half the world is off to faraway lands to study most intriguing courses when i'm stuck doing boring modules. my classmate then remarked, "whoa your sec 4 class so zai one ah?" obviously my first reaction was to go, "ya, of course", but i decided to be a little less obnoxious about it. and after a little convo with stef and ming about our illustrious classmates last night, i was most curious to determine exactly how many of us are overseas etc because engineers are sticklers for figures and little sums, and i am determine to embody such er fine qualities. also because i am damn bored la, must take a break from revision.

currently, 3 of our classmates cannot be accounted for because i don't know what unis they're in and what courses they're taking. so this is just 36 out of the 39 in 408. here goes

18 of us are overseas, out of which 8 are scholars. 11 of us are in law, 4 in med and 3 in engine. siao right, we're like 0.0975% of the dragon year babies and we've contributed to around 2.8% of nus' law intake and 1.2% of med fac, which is bloody insane thanks. shan't even talk about the scholars because the figures are scary.

next time when my classmates are off making history and loads of money, i hope they still remember me.
