alright, got my exam results. it was crap but i had it coming. i have to slog my guts out to yank my CAP up next sem to get the DDP now. no more ponning of lectures and tutorials, definitely no more weekly mambo outings. it's quite incredible that i got the grades i got seeing how i ponned literally half my math lectures and many tutorials.
i'm watching deal or no deal for the first time in my life. strange how many law girls are deal or no deal girls. i wonder if they really hire a guy to stalk around the room testily as the banker. the game's quite fascinating really. they probably have people calculate the different permutations of how the game progresses before setting a range for the money offered after every round so you just have to outsmart them probability-wise. then there's always this little issue of luck la.

wah lau my head is aching like crazy. it must be from the insane amount of noise that i was exposed to during the 408 gathering. it was less than a third of the class but we generated enough noise for entire crowds to stop what they were doing to stare at us. we even got shushed by irritated customers of ice monster. we must have been one of the worst classes to teach when we were back in rg, we were just talking at our normal volumes and we attracted so much attention. it's the first ever class gathering since we graduated and i was kind of hoping for a larger turnout but i don't think i'll survive the noise. i'm getting old already.
