i must document my 20th birthday in case my memory fails me one day.
- dinner at lovely japanese place where the wagyu beef was nice and fat
- dessert at ben and jerry's where we sang out loud to the songs we knew
- pouring bubble solution into the ____ at __ (those who know me will know this is my life ambition) this involved us getting into a very empty ___, lying to the security guards, checking the area for cameras then quickly pouring the contents of the container in (Y) the best "illegal" thing i've done since all my nonsense in rg.
- koping beautiful roses from the cartier display then handing them out to complete strangers at 11pm on a very empty orchard road. singaporeans are uncharacteristically averse to free gifts.
- playing with sparklers that were very noisy and smoky. we successfully smoked the entire right wing of my block; there were people staring outside their windows and they probably saw 3 loons dancing around with sparklers.
loved every second of it. the raucousness in the restaurant, the warbling in b n j's, the scurrying off after we poured the stuff in, the sparks from the sparklers singeing my toes.
then must write about my 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th birthday too, all because stupid diary-x died so i must note it down for posterity.
16th - nothing much because there was bio lab prelims that day. i remembered us eating beef noodles at the food court in scotts, the place is now gone. i received an issue of vogue from adeline though, because keira knightley was on the cover :D
17th - if i remember correctly, it was dinner at wj's place. wj facilitate details please, i am old already.
18th - i was told to dress nicely before i learned that the venue for dinner was glutton's bay so i was very confused. had a slightly melted cake at glutton's bay which must have tasted yummy because food with screw is always good. then had drinks at fullerton, i ordered a raspberry martini that tasted like cough syrup. inside the bar, a world cup match was being screened. it was japan against some other country.
19th - had birthday celebrations at nus because ming was at law camp in nus. we sat at the cafe at university hall and watched the world go by. got my present while we were eating meatballs in ikea. my present was an engineer survivor pack with an insanely colourful calculator, chinese book, detective pocket book and a pretty notebook.
i really cannot remember what i got for my birthdays so remind me if you guys remember. stef IS EARS!, rachelgotpwned, ming PWNS. and wan jun is COOL <3333 (btw, i didn't come up with the last one, it was ming) my stomach will never be too full for another scry/screw outing.
our day will come.
