i was entirely uninterested in the olympics until rachel started gushing to me about the opening ceremony. out of curiosity, i went home to catch a bit of the opening ceremony and i was amazed by the number of people there, literally people mountain people sea. if singapore's sole resource is her people, then china is don't know what la okay.
watching the weightlifting segment now and the canadian weightlifter is very pretty. almost too pretty for weightlifting. i'm hoping they'll have the fencing competition on tv soon. i only managed to catch a little bit of female epee during athens 2004.
