in response to the st article about getting more engineers; scratch the whole image thing and just pay engineers more. i cannot believe that smoo econs graduates (no offense meant, stef) are paid more than chemical engineers after all they said about chemical engineers getting a higher pay. CAN THEY SOLVE ORDINARY EQUATIONS AND WRITE A PROGRAM THAT SIMULATES A FUCKING REACTOR? i think not.
