brief update 1: wj and ming are in my room right now. my bed is currently a mattress that was stuffed behind the couch in the common room with the most dubious looking stains on it. after this incident, no one can call me a clean freak anymore. i learnt that my threshold for dirt is higher than i had ever imagined. another lesson i learnt on my eurotrip is that i cannot ever marry a man who snores. or i will die.
brief update 2: my laptop was fried after i spilt half a bottle of water onto it. i think i was too shocked to turn off the power until my laptop started behaving strangely. mistake number two was turning it over so i could hair dry the components. mistake number three was turning on the power too quickly, i could hear the circuits sizzling softly.
as always, i try to see the positive side of things. without my laptop, i am forced to do work extremely efficiently as the computer labs operate on european hours i.e. from 0800-1530 from mon to sat and they aren't open on sundays go me. the downside is that i have 2 6 page essays due for submission in a week, one of which i completed a day before my laptop crashed so it was not backed up, a fucking difficult programming assignment and of course exams la.
home in less than 19 days. i don't suppose you can sense the excitement.
