on a altogether separate note, one of mm lee's statements in today's edition of straits times is fairly intriguing. why is it that we must embrace highly educated migrants? maybe i am interpreting his statements wrongly but do we embrace just the highly educated migrants or do we embrace all migrants?
if we mean to roll out the welcome carpet for migrants, i don't think there should be one for the vip and another for riff raff. where would singapore be without the uneducated bricklayers and coolies?
