mm, am i a particularly callous and impatient person? i get annoyed when my prc friend calls me 司徒, there's something about the way she says my surname that really irks me. i want to tell her that i have a perfectly usable chinese and english name so she can choose one of the two, but she is nice so i can't quite tell her to stop calling me that.
then this guy from smu who talks to me when we have nothing in common. i'm probably being hasty and judgmental, nothing new here, but i don't have an urge to become better friends with him.
