back in helsinki, back to work! although exchange has been quite fun so far, i must say it's a pretty raw deal academically. BUT, i shall remain positive! christmas joy permeates the air, actually only the london air. helsinki is not so commercial, sadly.
i heard this song in costa while we slept overnight at stansted airport en route to salzburg. still a bit woozy from the poor night's sleep i had two days ago (1 hour on the plane from prague to london, snoozed at costa in gatwick and another 3 hours on the way back to helsinki). quite thankful to be back despite the work really, clean clothes, nice long shower and MOISTURISER. the air is so dry, it hurts when i stretch.
chor kang! after slacking off for so long, i am about to go from 0-100 in about 4 seconds. internship, night classes, training for marathon and volunteering with lions befriender. go me.
nostalgic sunday! does this song not make you feel all bubbly and cheerful? if i had a roaring fireplace, friends and family, and no work! alas, i will be back in sunny singapore before christmas. the only roaring fireplace i can get is the stove in a zi char stall.
our day will come.
