enjoying yet another meal at vienna's famous cafe central where lenin, trotsky etc once lounged at. the daily special here is pretty worth it, the coffees here are quite good too. will put up the nostalgic sunday song soon, any guesses as to what it will be?
edit (05/11/2009):
a very late nostalgic sunday, but one of my favourite songs.
i feel like going back to rg when i get back to singapore, it is not so much a trip down memory lane because so much has changed already, but more of a way for me to measure just how much i've moved on from that reference point which will remain as The Origin for a long time to come. i am less wistful for those days because they are irrevocably gone, which is good because i can now move along with lighter feet but they will always be seared in my heart and mind (and i mean this in the best possible way although the word sear does bring to mind some rather painful images). they will remain as an amulet against unhappy and unpleasant times, and i hope that these times will remind you, my friends, that you still have a friend in me although i am thousands of miles away.
okay, that's enough effusiveness from me tonight now. some of you might have guessed correctly that i have consumed some alcohol because that is the only way to get me to talk like that. goodnight all.

our day will come.
